It can be hard to know what to do for Thanksgiving appetizers. If you're already cooking a meal for Thanksgiving, you probably don't want to do a whole lot of extra work just to have some appetizers. Your oven might need to be occupied with other foods, as well.

On the other hand, you might be someone who wants to bring some kind of food to a Thanksgiving gathering where they'll already be serving a meal.

Either way, this list has some AMAZING ideas for appetizers that wouldn't be a ton of work to put together, but would definitely still be crowdpleasers.

This post is all about the best Thanksgiving appetizers.

1. Loaded Potato Bites

These look SO delicious! To make them, you need some mini potatoes. You make several cuts through each potato, rub with olive oil, sprinkle with salt, then, bake them @ 400 for 30 minutes. Then, you put cheese into some of the little slices you made and bake for 5-10 mins until the cheese is melted. After they've cooled a bit, you can add your toppings!

These would be so easy to make but so good as an appetizer for Thanksgiving.

2. Charcuterie Turkey

You can never go wrong with a charcuterie board, and a turkey one like this would be perfect for Thanksgiving (especially if you're serving kids).

3. Thanksgiving Deviled Eggs

Deviled eggs are a personal favorite of mine, and they're the perfect Thanksgiving appetizer. I love these because they look like pumpkins! If you really want yours to look like pumpkins, I've seen people garnish with a little piece of chive/ green onion to really make it look like a pumpkin stem.

4. Candied Grapes

I saw someone on tiktok make these the other day, and they looked DELICIOUS. The way she did it, she froze the grapes and then dipped them in caramel/ toppings. People say the grapes need to be completely dry for the caramel to stick, and that they're a huge hit!

5. Gratitude Charcuterie Board

This is another super cute Thanksgiving charcuterie board idea. This one is a bit more sophisticated than the turkey from earlier. This would be so cute for both a family Thanksgiving and a Friendsgiving celebration.

6. Baked Cranberry Brie

I've only had baked brie one time, and I've been thinking about it ever since. This literally makes my mouth water just looking at it. This would 100% be a very popular appetizer for Thanksgiving.

7. Pumpkin Vegetable Board

If you're wanting to do something easy and healthy, this would be a really cute way to serve a simple veggie board! I absolutely love how they put the dip in a mini pumpkin.

8. Pumpkin Shaped Cheese Ball

You can't really go wrong with some form of cheese as an appetizer, and this would be such a cute way to do it. It's a cheddar chive cheese ball shaped as a pumpkin!

9. Goat Cheese Balls

This is another good cheese idea you could do as an appetizer for Thanksgiving! Honey flavored goat cheese is coated with panko breadcrumbs, air fried, and topped with honey. Yum!

10. Roasted Mushrooms

I was looking at a reddit thread on Thanksgiving appetizers, and so many people were saying to make mushrooms and that they're a huge hit! It's definitely not something that I would've expected, but sounds delicious!

11. Goat Cheese Stuffed Bacon Wrapped Dates

Oh my goodness, this sounds SO good, and the flavor combo would be perfect for Thanksgiving. The name is pretty self explanatory-- you stuff dates with goat cheese, wrap them in bacon, and then drizzle them with a honey, rosemary, and cayenne mixture. Then you bake them @ 400 for 20-25 minutes.

12. Mini Pumpkin Charcuterie Cups

This is such a cute way to do a Thanksgiving appetizer. You could either get some pumpkin snack cups like these, or you could hollow out a some mini pumpkins yourself!

13. Pumpkin Whipped Feta Dip

I don't know about you, but I love feta anything, so this sounds divine. To make it, you mix a block of feta, greek yogurt, honey, and pumpkin puree in a food processor. You chill it, and then you top it with fresh thyme, walnuts, and some more honey.

14. Cranberry Brie Bites

This is another baked cranberry brie appetizer you could make! It's perfect if you want more of a finger food vibe. To make these, you put some puff pastry squares into mini muffin cups, pop some brie in each cup, and top with cranberry sauce, some orange zest, and rosemary before baking.

15. Marinated Cheese

I'd totally forgotten that marinated cheese was a thing until I saw this on Pinterest! Someone in my hometown used to make this when I was in high school, and let me tell you, it is DELICIOUS. It looks very unassuming, but trust me, it's incredible.

To make it, you alternate squares of cheddar and cream cheese. Then, you top it with a mix of oil, vinegar, pimento, parsley, sugar, basil, salt, and pepper. After that, you refrigerate it and let it marinate at least 6 hours. Then you eat the mixture on crackers (or bread or whatever you'd like).
